YOUTH GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Y Volleyball leagues provide an introduction to the popular Olympic sport, invented by the YMCA. Participants will master the rules, learn how to contact the ball and develop bumping, setting and serving skills. Teams will practice and play a match one night per week. Teams will play a 7 game season with all activities at the Oldham County Y.
During the Fall Session, the 8-10 year olds will play on Tuesday evenings between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. The 11-14 year olds will play on Thursday evenings between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. All players will receive a uniform shirt and an award. Players are encouraged to wear knee pads.
